If a picture speaks a thousand words take a look at these smiles
During the 2010-2011 year ending 20 June 2011, the Post
put a smile on the faces of five children at a cost of
$1,600.00. Total operations were down due to our primary doctor
being out of country for over six months.
Substantial donations were received from the Klenk
Foundation, Troy Construction of Houston, Texas, the Dewitt
Family, Robert Hawes, Richard Ciriello, Dennis Carlton, Lee Cobb
and his shipmates from the Honolulu Chapter of the Fleet Reserve
Association, Dave Dougherty, Jack Dietz, Dave Rowe, Tom Bacle,
Paul Zuyus, Don Clayton, and Willie T. Brandon of Post 9723.
Special thanks go
to Bill Grubbs, Mike Sculley, Walt Howard, and Cliff Goins for
their able assistance in helping us make the program a success.
They and
all the other members and friends who supported this program
over the years have made a difference in the lives of over 1250
children benefiting from this program since its inception in
1988.
